Zusammen mit einer buntgemischten Gruppe durfte ich dieses Verlängerten Wochenende im Gebiet um die Turtmannhütte verbringen. Aufgrund der Internationalen Gruppe ist auch der Tourenbericht mehrsprachig:
Freitag 29.03.2019 Bericht von Luke Gormann - England:
At 6am we took the train from Brugg Bahnhof with many changes to St Luc. There we took a funicular and 3 drag lifts to the top of the piste where our tour started. A little skin climb then a nice open downhill section on firm snow.
Following this was a lot of varied terrain leading to the final ascent up to the hut. From the start of the touring we took 3hr 47mins. With a distance of 12km and ascent of 707m.
Really great start to the tour.

Pronti... via! sveglia alle 6, colazione veloce e alle 6:45 siamo pronti a partire verso il Gässi. Il canale è in ottime condizioni (alcuni lo scenderanno con gli sci al rientro), carichiamo gli sci negli zaini e saliamo senza ramponi.
Risaliamo la morena ancora all'ombra e raggiungiamo il ghiacciaio Brunegg. A farci compagnia per tutto il viaggio sulla nostra destra il Bishorn con i suoi seracchi appesi.
Raggiungiamo l'attacco del Brunegghorn che pero' ci presenta una brutta sorpresa: ghiaccio vivo quasi fino in vetta! Rolf e Marcel attrezzano corde fisse e risaliamo in sicurezza per 70 metri circa. Dopo aver attraversato un po' di sfasciumi e neve, ci rendiamo conto che c'è altro ghiaccio più rocce esposte per raggiungere la cima. Ci fermiamo circa 50 metri sotto la meta, peccato! Panorama spettacolare, il gruppo del Mitschabel di fronte, il Monte Rosa in lontananza e l'imponente Weisshorn sulla destra. Sicuramente ne è valsa la pena.
Torniamo al deposito sci e scendiamo il ghiacciaio su neve stupenda, pausa snack e poi giu' fino al rifugio.

Schitour vo da Turtmahitta (2519) nach Jungen (1955) üba Pipjilicke (3050), Jungtaljoch (3220) und Wasuhorn (3343)
Mia han pünktlich um 6:45 weg glaufa. De erste Pause ham ma dann bei Sunnenschei und supa Aussicht bei da Pipjilicke gmacht. Vo dot ham no schnia den Gipfe zu da Pipjilspitz (3070) mitgnumma.
Zügig san ma dann übers Jungtaljoch aufs Wasuhorn aufgstiegn. Dort hama a wunderbare Fernsicht g'habt.
D`anschließende Abfahrt ins Jungen war supa sche. Mia konnt'n den Puifaschnee so richtig guat gnias'n.
Zum Schluss ham ma d' Schi no a Stickl über d' Wies zu da Jungenbahn trang miasn. Von dort aus sa ma dann um 13:30 ins Tal nach St. Niklaus obe gfoan und ham von do d`Heimreise antretn.
